Desty Startup will present Indonesia SME Summit and Expo (ISSE) 2023 this August

ISSE 2023 will be held for three days on August 29-31, 2023 by presenting over 50,000 business owners, including MSMEs and several well-known brands.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia-based e-commerce management platform, Desty, will hold the Indonesia SME Summit & Expo (ISSE) 2023 on August 29-31, 2023, at the Indonesia Convention Center (ICE) BSD Tangerang.

ISSE 2023 will be the inaugural event that brings together marketplace sellers and MSMEs from all over Indonesia with stakeholders in the industry, such as government, logistics, social media, payments, and service providers. This event is expected to become the center of commerce activity which provides a variety of opportunities and a platform for the growth and success of the MSME business.

According to co-founder and CEO Desty Mulyono Xu, ISSE 2023 is a valuable forum for Indonesian MSMEs. “We believe that by empowering small and medium-scale businesses, we can build a strong foundation for economic growth and innovation in our country. Through ISSE 2023, Desty is committed to supporting entrepreneurs in facing challenges and opportunities in an increasingly competitive business world,” Mulyono conveyed at the press conference in Jakarta (08/08).

Further, the three-day event is hoped to bring over 50,000 business owners, including MSMEs and several well-known brands, as well as more than 100 business partners including venture capital, factories, suppliers, logistics importers, and software. In addition, at least 15 media and marketplaces will also participate in this event.

ISSE 2023 is supported by numerous sponsors and partners, spanning Sinarmas, J&T Cargo as the official logistics cargo, East Ventures, Alibaba Cloud with Blue Power Technology, Google Cloud Platform, Devoteam, DOKU, Sevenpreneur, IDN Times, Detiknetwork and KG Media. The event also received support from TikTok, Lazada, Blibli, Shopee, KADIN, Smesco, and the Ministry of Cooperatives & SMEs.

Accommodating merchant partners, local suppliers, and factories

In more detail, the main series of events consist of: Conference Stage, Experience Hall, Ecosystem Hall, and Supply Hall. At the Conference Stage, there will be 15 panel sessions and speakers as well as Investor Speed Dating which will be attended by 20 prominent investors. The Experience Hall includes three areas namely Ask Me Anything, Livestreaming Area, and Digital Retail Experience.

Meanwhile, Ecosystem Hall will provide more than 50 merchant partners including service providers, software, and providers of business infrastructure facilities such as payment, logistics, POS, financial, and brand aggregators. Lastly, the Supply Hall will accommodate around 50 local suppliers and factories to meet the business needs of sellers. To access ISSE 2023, visitors can purchase an early bird ticket for Rp50,000, approximately US$3.3 (US$1 equals Rp15,194) which is available until August 14, by visiting the official ISSE 2023 website.
