Heaptalk, Jakarta — Apkasi Procurement 2023: Expo & Forum (APN 2023) will be held on November 27th – 28th, 2023, at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). As one of the superior working programs of Indonesia’s District Government Association (Apkasi), this event aims to support government programs in realizing local products as the host in the homeland.

As the Director Executive of Apkasi, Sarman Simanjorang, delivered, “The 2023 APN activity is one of Apkasi’s flagship programs, which has entered its fourth edition. Aiming to bring together producers of goods and services with end users, this agenda is suitable for the public and entrepreneurs to attend,”

In conducting APN 2023, Sarman explained multiple expectations of Apkasi. He looks forward to the end users in the government environment who can directly perceive various local products as solutions to local government needs. Besides, Sarman also expects that local governments can shop through the e-catalog mechanism in PBJP activities.

“Implementing the e-catalog will speed up the process more measurably and transparently. For this reason, we expect all Apkasi members to adopt a local e-catalog system and operate the platform to market the local government requisites,” added Sarman.

On the other hand, Apkasi’s Executive Director also hopes the regional governments, particularly PBJP activity officials, could get to know the producers more closely in performing consultation related to the specifications of the goods or services required.

“APN 2023 will also present numerous forum agendas to spread more comprehensive information regarding the goods and services showcased to the end users. Participants could also elaborate on their developed products,” Sarman said.

Regarding the target for implementing the 2023 APN, Sarman will target end users because they ascertain the budget allocation in their respective regions, which will be spent according to the needs of each regional government. He also revealed that Apkasi will invite regional apparatus organizations, including regional hospitals, public health centers, and other regional services.

As information, the APN 2023 is supported by numerous government entities, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry, the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP), and Indonesia’s Chamber of Commerce. Besides inviting the APkasi members, APN 2023 will invite PBJ officials from the central government, provincial government, city government, ministries/agencies, BUMN/BUMD, and TNI/POLRI.

The Project Manager of APN 2023, Syarifuddin Kay, added, “Apart from presenting expo activity, we will also feature numerous talk shows, forums, and business matching activities which would be prioritized in the healthcare equipment sector this year,”

Visitors can also follow various topics and credible sources regarding the Policies and Programs to Accelerate the Implementation of Government PBJ to Encourage Regional Economic Growth and Policies and Programs for Accelerating the Increased Use of Domestic Products in the Procurement of Government Goods and Services.

“We will also provide best practices and sharing sessions of the regional heads who will share knowledge about the strategy to optimize the e-catalog system to accelerate budget absorption for goods/services for MSME products,” concluded Syarifuddin.
