Halal Fair series 2023 will be organized in Jakarta and Yogyakarta, while Halal Indonesia Expo (HIEX) 2023 will be held in Tangerang.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Wahyu Promo Citra returns to hold halal exhibitions, named Halal Fair series go to Halal Indonesia Expo (HIEX) 2023. Halal Fair series is organized as the road to the peak event, Halal Indonesia Expo (HIEX), which will be held on December 2023.
Halal Fair is set to be organized in two big cities in Indonesia, including Jakarta and Yogyakarta. In more detail, the expo will be held at Istora GBK, Jakarta, on August 4th-6th and Jogja Expo Center on October 27th-29th. On the peak event, Halal Indonesia Expo will be organized on December 8th- 10th, at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
The project manager of Halal Series Agung explained why this series is also present in Yogyakarta. He delivered that the literacy concerning halal products and also the demand for halal products in the area are high. Therefore, this city is appointed as the venue to answer society’s needs.
Moreover, Agung explained the difference between Halal series and HIEX, “There is a significant difference between Halal Fair and HIEX. Despite focusing on retail business, HIEX will also showcase business-to-business (B2B) agendas, such as business matching.”
In terms of implementation, the scale of HIEX also will be larger than Halal Fair with the total participants of 553 exhibitors. In addition, Agung revealed the Halal Fair series will be followed by 200 – 300 booths, depends on the venue’s capacity.
Responding to the organizing of this event, the Director of Wahyu Promo Citra, Satrio Sukur, stated, “We aim to revive and optimize the tremendous potential of the Indonesian halal industry through this agenda. In order to attain this goal, we will showcase halal products and enticing agenda, such as cooking live show, etc.”
Aiming to deliver experience and inspiration, these exhibitions will present attractive programs, including talk shows and sharing sessions, sharia wedding talk, and more. This expo also assist the visitor and exhibitors in driving their business through several agendas, spanning exhibition, business financial management, and one-stop service halal certification.
To enlivening these occasions, Wahyu Promo Citra has collaborated with the Ministry of Creative Industry and Tourism, and several Muslim organizations and associations, such as Sharia Economy Society (MES) DKI Jakarta, ASESI, PPHI, and ICCI. Perceiving the support from multiple stakeholders and the popularity of the halal industry today, the promotor is optimistic that the events will attract 90,000 visitors.
