Heaptalk, Jakarta – Indonesia is set to host the 45th global edition of the World AI Show on July 8–9, 2025, at JW Marriott Hotel, Jakarta. Organized by Trescon, the global event will bring together technology leaders, policymakers, and investors to discuss the future of artificial intelligence (AI) in Southeast Asia.

As Indonesia’s digital economy is projected to surpass USD 130 billion by the end of 2025, the nation is rapidly positioning itself as a regional technology powerhouse. The World AI Show in Jakarta signals a strategic step forward in asserting Indonesia’s role in the fast-evolving AI landscape.

“AI is a fast-developing technology with global implications. Its optimal implementation is still under exploration, and open dialogue among diverse stakeholders is crucial. Events like the World AI Show offer a vital platform for collaboration and responsible innovation, ensuring AI is adopted safely, ethically, and sustainably,” said Vince Henry Iswara, CEO of DANA Indonesia.

Strategic Themes and Focus

World AI Show 2025 will spotlight key areas including enterprise AI transformation, decision intelligence systems, regulatory governance, smart city integration, human-machine collaboration, and robust data architecture for scalable implementation.

This year’s edition will also delve into the “Making Indonesia 4.0” initiative, which places AI at the heart of the country’s digital transformation strategy. The initiative aligns with national goals for technological sovereignty and leadership in the global digital economy.

Interactive and High-Level Engagements

The event agenda includes executive roundtables, technical workshops, curated investment showcases, policy forums, and structured networking opportunities. These sessions aim to foster meaningful partnerships and investment traction within Indonesia’s growing AI ecosystem.

“This fifth edition of the World AI Show in Indonesia, and the 45th globally, reflects the country’s rising importance in the regional AI narrative. With national agendas like Stranas KA and Vision 2045 accelerating AI adoption, this edition is a timely catalyst for transforming vision into impact,” said Mithun Shetty, Vice Chairman of Trescon.

Shaping the Future of AI in Southeast Asia

The World AI Show Jakarta 2025 presents a pivotal opportunity for technology innovators, solution providers, investors, enterprise leaders, and academic institutions to play a defining role in Indonesia’s technological journey. The future of AI in Southeast Asia is being written now—Indonesia is ready to take the lead.
