Heaptalk, Jakarta — Calypte Holding, a renewable energy company headquartered in Singapore, announced the launch of Indonesia Airlines, a commercial airline exclusively serving international flights (03/07). The airline aims to open routes to 48 destination cities across 30 countries within its first five years of operation.
The establishment of this airline was decided during a general meeting of shareholders following the launch of a major project: a 2,500-megawatt solar power plant. The airline will be headquartered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten. According to Iskandar, CEO of Indonesia Airlines and Executive Chairman of Calypte Holding, this business decision represents an exciting leap forward for the aviation industry.
“PT Indonesia Airlines Group proudly introduces a revolutionary travel experience that brings back the luxury of the golden age of aviation. We present a scheduled commercial airline with premium services under the brand Indonesia Airlines (INA),” Iskandar said, as quoted by Kontan (03/09).
Offering luxurious flights

The airline aims to offer luxurious flights with a private jet experience on commercial flights. To become one of the best international airlines, it has assembled a top-tier team with expertise from various major airlines worldwide. The airline will operate a fleet of 20 aircraft, which will be introduced gradually. The fleet will consist of 10 narrow-body aircraft, namely the Airbus A321neo or A321LR, and 10 wide-body aircraft, including the Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 787-9.
Iskandar explained, “Our vision is to become a global symbol of Indonesia’s prosperity, an icon of celebration, and hospitality within the narrative of Indonesian culture. As for our mission, we are committed to redefining travel with premium services where safety is our top priority, while sharing the warm hospitality of the Indonesian people with the world.”
