Heaptalk, Jakarta — DesktopIP officially introduced its virtual store for software and web apps on the cloud platform IfVirty Marketplace on February 24, 2025, at the DesktopIP office in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, to strengthen the cloud ecosystem in Indonesia.
Built on the IfVirty cloud, this marketplace provides diverse software tailored to users’ needs and ready to use through virtualization. It curates both closed-source and open-source software, such as WordPress, MySQL, Docker, ISPConfig, and ClickHouse. “Everything in IfVirty is virtual. The applications available in this marketplace can be easily deployed,” stated Wisesa Widyantoro, DesktopIP CTO (02/26).
Designed for B2B and B2C, this marketplace aims to simplify developers’ deployment of web applications, reducing costs and effort. Without a cloud marketplace, developers typically need to install multiple applications or technology stacks simultaneously to build a web server, such as PHP, MySQL, and Nginx.
Wisesa added, “We provide ease of use. Previously, developers had to install many applications, but now with IfVirty Marketplace, they can access all these applications with one click. We are among the early adopters of the cloud marketplace in Indonesia.”

Offering revenue sharing
According to Tresna Apriansyah, SVP of Products & Enterprise Solutions at DesktopIP, this marketplace offers revenue sharing for developers and boosts their product awareness. Therefore, Tresna invited developers or software houses to publish their products on this marketplace for broader community use.
“By launching IfVirty Marketplace, we would like to create community-based economic value for developers who list their software products on the platform. Besides revenue sharing, they can also increase awareness, which ultimately drives revenue from sales,” Tresna said (02/26).
Simultaneously with this launch, the company also announced a collaboration with Aplikadia, a digital catalog and display platform for software and web applications, to embed IfVirty on its platform. Tresna mentioned that this collaboration would amplify the economic value the company aims to achieve. Both developers and the catalog platform will receive fair revenue sharing and free promotion.
Moving forward, DesktopIP is also open to collaboration with various parties interested in integrating IfVirty Marketplace into their systems, whether individuals or organizations, private or government entities. “It can be effective and efficient as all government services can be gathered in one cloud marketplace,” Tresna concluded.
