Heaptalk, Jakarta — MRT Jakarta has officially renamed one of its stations to MRT Bundaran HI Bank DKI as part of a collaboration with Bank DKI on Tuesday (10/08).
Agus Haryoto Widodo, Bank DKI CEO, stated, “With this naming right, we hope to enhance the exposure and awareness of Bank DKI, allowing us to remain an integral part of Jakarta’s community life, especially in supporting the city’s agenda as a global business hub.”
Meanwhile, Tuhiyat, MRT Jakarta CEO, conveyed that his party will continuously promote cooperation and collaboration to advance the public transportation system. Currently, there are eight MRT Jakarta stations that have established naming rights partnerships. MRT Bundaran HI Bank DKI station becomes the ninth in this first phase to enter into a naming rights agreement, showcasing synergy with the DKI Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD).
“In the future, we are opening more opportunities for partnerships regarding naming rights, which is one of MRT Jakarta’s initiatives for non-ticket revenue,” Tuhiyat added.
He expressed hope for further collaborations and innovations to enhance the passenger experience on MRT Jakarta, stating, “The partnership between MRT Jakarta and Bank DKI complements and demonstrates that MRT Jakarta is inclusive and open to anyone in developing Jakarta as the epicenter of the national economy and business.”
