Heaptalk, Jakarta — Southeast Asia’s most significant B2B exhibition, Indonesia International Baby Products and Toys Products (IBTE), Indonesia International Gifts and Housewares Expo (IGHE), and Indonesia International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE) Indonesia 2024, will be held at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta from August 7 to 9.
IBTE, IGHE, and IEAE 2024 will showcase thousands of leading innovative products, such as breastfeeding equipment, baby gear, children’s toys, smart devices, electronics, and household necessities. The exhibition area covers almost 40,000 square meters, and the scale of the exhibition has doubled compared to last year.
“This year, more than 1,000 exhibitors will participate and showcase over 110,000 of their top products from various countries, including Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, and China,” explained Nelson, Vice President of Chaoyu Indonesia, to reporters in Jakarta on Thursday (01/08).
Visitors can see and try innovative products from various sectors, such as information technology, gaming, household appliances, etc. These products reflect the latest trends and breakthroughs in their respective industries, with new product categories such as the IP Licensing Pavilion and Stationery & Student Supplies at the IBTE exhibition.
On this occasion, Nelson explained that many large companies are participating in the event, such as Toys Kingdom, Kanmo Group, Top Toy, Ningbo Welldon Infant and Child Safety Technology Co., Jason Anime Development Limited, Bear, Remax, Zhongshan Olayks Electric Appliance Co., Shenzhen Hainoteko Smart Co., Liven Technology Jiaxing Co., Bolde Makmur Indonesia, Dongguan Qingzhisen Presents Company Limited, RL Industry Co., and others.
In addition, IBTE, IGHE, and IEAE 2024 also feature business matchmaking programs, such as an online business matchmaking platform that allows participants to arrange meetings with potential business partners, enabling them to interact directly before and after the event while opening up new opportunities. To attract visitors, the exhibition also hosts Mobile e-sports competitions and meet-and-greet sessions with brand ambassadors from professional e-sports teams in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Soegiharto Santoso, Chairman of the National Association of Information and Communication Technology Entrepreneurs (Aptiknas), said in his speech that this exhibition is a golden opportunity for business professionals in the electronics industry to find new opportunities, share industry insights, and face challenges together. “This exhibition allows participants to interact directly with trusted suppliers, ensuring access to quality products at competitive prices,” said Soegiharto.
Sutjiadi Lukas, Chairman of the Indonesian Toy Association (AMI), added, “In recent years, significant population growth, especially the increasing number of young couples and birth rates, supported by strong economic growth, has driven higher demand for various daily consumer products, such as baby gear, toys, stationery, household necessities, and advanced technology smart devices.”
