Heaptalk, Jakarta — IFRA, International Franchise License, and Business Concept expo and conference is officially back starting from Friday, 12th November 2021. The event is the form of collaboration between Indonesia’s well-known event organizer Dyandra Promosindo and Indonesia Franchise Association (AFI) as well as Indonesia License (ASENSI).
Adapting to the current situation, the event was held by adopting a hybrid concept, namely combining offline and virtual events. The “live” in-person event is held from 12 to 14th November 2021 in Jakarta Convention Center, while for the online concept, the event’s duration will be longer, starting from 12nd to 30th November 2021 that can be accessed through its official websites https://www.ifra-virtualexpo.com/.
People that are interested in attending the offline event solely need to come to the venue directly and fill the registration form with the registration fee is Rp 60,000 or around US$4.3 (IDR to USD is 14,200). Moreover, for the online event, visitors are only required to complete the registration form without any fee.
During the grand opening of the expo, the Director-General of Foreign Trade Oke Nurwan, the President Director of Dyandra Promosindo Hendra Noor Saleh, and the Chairman of ASENSI Susanti Widjaja attended to inaugurate the event. The Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Teten Masduki was also present to witness the inauguration.
In its opening remarks, Teten said, “IFRA is a platform that strives to promote franchise and license sector, and open opportunities for MSMEs to have wider market access. Considering to the role of MSMEs as Indonesia’s economic backbone, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs has prepared the future transformation of MSMEs based on creativity and technology innovation.”
Teten also added that based on the mission mentioned above, the authority perceived that ownership and license knowledge is critical aspect that will protect the right of MSMEs. The franchise aspect is viewed as an important element in enhancing business size, and last will boost MSMEs to scale up. The presence of Teten during the opening ceremony conveyed that the authority supports IFRA, as the platform that is aligned with the authority’s mission.
In the expo, IFRA offers various attractive and interactive activities, including business matching, offline booth, classroom, webpreneur talk show, interactive quiz, lucky draw, stage performance, retiree’s seminar, the 5th IFBCC, meet the experts, IFRA awarding and gathering and IFRA webinar series.
Moreover, during the onsite event, the event organizing committee has implemented strict health protocol and provided handwashing facilities scattered in several locations. The action is intentionally conducted as the commitee’s measure to protect the visitors’ health. The organizing of IFRA, the expo is expected can draw 15,000 visitors with the nominal target is nearly US$35 million.
