Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia International Education Training Expo & Conference (IIETE) was officially opened by the Head of the Collaboration and Public Relations Team of the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Yayat Hendayana (02/22).

Adopting the theme Never Stop Learning, this exhibition aims to bring in 25,000 visitors in four days from February, 22-25, 2024 at Hall B of Jakarta International Center (JCC).

In his remarks, Yayat appreciated the activity organized by PT Wahyu Promo Citra (WPCitra). According to him, this exhibition demonstrates the role of the private sector in conveying information: regarding higher education starting from Diplomas, bachelors, masters, doctorates, professions, parallel classes, international classes, training programs, and civil service programs both domestic and foreign.

“Besides, IIETE 2024 also presents numerous scholarship information at state and private universities. This scholarship stimulation is a manifest of the full support of educational institutions to expand educational equality in the country,” Yayat said in Jakarta (02/22).

Meanwhile, WPCitra Deputy Director Satrio Sukur delivered that IIETE 2024 is not only a platform for obtaining information about higher education, but also a forum that inspires all related parties to innovate and accelerate transformation in the education sector. For this reason, the 4-day exhibition features various seminars, workshops, and sharing sessions that review the latest issues relevant to the progress of the education industry.

To attract 25,000 visitors

Satrio Sukur is optimistic that, with a variety of enticing events, this education expo can attract 25,000 visitors. This exhibition is regularly held in February with more than 25 thousand visitors from diverse circles, especially grade 12 senior high school students from Jakarta and surrounding areas, including parents, teachers, students, academics, and professionals.

There will be 100 exhibitors from state universities, favorite private universities both in Indonesia and abroad, course institutions, digital education, educational support industries, as well as domestic and foreign educational institutions. Some of the favorite campuses that will be present at IIETE 2024 include the University of Indonesia, Gajah Mada University, Padjadjaran University, Diponegoro University, IPB University, Hasanuddin University, State Finance Polytechnic STAN, Health Polytechnic, Atma Jaya University, Open University, Bina Nusantara, Mercu Buana, and LSPR.
