According to the Head of the Government Goods and Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP), Hendrar Prihadi, the goods and services procurement sector is not only about transparency and compliance but must also pay attention to sustainability to be encountered by future generations.
For this reason, he claimed that LKPP LKPP has taken concrete steps, as stated in Presidential Regulation 16 of 2018, concerning considering sustainable aspects. On the other hand, the commitment to sustainable procurement is also reflected in Presidential Instruction 7 of 2022 concerning using battery-based electric motorized vehicles as official vehicles for the central government and regional governments.
Furthermore, LKPP has also launched a filter feature in the e-catalog system for environmentally friendly products as a step in the sustainable goods procurement industry. In building a sustainable procurement sector, he also said that the government continues to expand the aspects of sustainable procurement in the draft law on procurement of goods/services into four elements, including environmental, social, economic, and institutional factors.
In conjunction with the opening ceremony agenda, I2SPE also held a Procurement Award, which was given directly to the best procurement actors, namely Procurement from Central Java Province and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia with the most procurement transactions through Online Shops.
