Around 120 exhibitors from 18 categories will showcase their latest technology products at the 29th Indocomtech exhibition.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia’s IT and innovative technology exhibition, Indocomtech, is poised to return on October 25th – 29th, 2023, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang.
Adopting AI’m Existing as the theme, implementing the 29th technology exhibition is expected to inspire society to become part of the solution to this rapidly and dynamically developing technological development.
The enhancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology continues to increase, with an investment value of up to US$7 billion. This technology is predicted to grow in Indonesia by 27% in 2027. According to the General Chairman of the Apkomindo Foundation, Hidayat Tjokrodjojo, the rapid growth of AI technology has become one of the most critical considerations for implementing Indocomtech 2023. He expects that society can adapt to face the onslaught of AI, which is claimed to reduce job opportunities for people.
“This technology is a challenge we must constructively address as early as possible. Through the Indocomtech exhibition, we aim to invite the public to be more aware of advances in AI technology and discover plenty of opportunities that can be obtained with massive technological sophistication,” added Hidayat.
Conducted by Indonesia Apkomindo Foundation (YAI), Indocomtech will feature numerous IT and innovative technology products, spanning smartphones, laptops, commerce solutions to support business operations, gaming and video devices, home appliances, and transportation technology, such as electric bicycles and electric cars. Around 120 exhibitors from 18 categories will showcase their latest technology products at this event.
Besides featuring outstanding technological products, Indocomtech will also present numerous enticing agendas, including workshops, talk shows, new product launches, awarding nights, robotic expos, gaming competitions, and cosplay competitions.
To support Indonesian talent in technology, Indocomtech will also hold an Archipelago Robot Contest, which will be participated by elementary to high school students from 3 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, with total participants of up to 700 registrants. This program will present several competitions, spanning brick speed, coding missions, drone missions, and animation.
