Attending the inauguration agenda of this collaboration, Indonesia’s Ministry of SOE, Erick Thohir, stated, “As an agent of development, the government continues to encourage equal distribution of the Indonesian economy through various initiatives, one of which is in the MSME sector. I look forward to MSMEs continuing to learn by introspecting about the quality of their products to move forward instead of loving their products only. The biggest difficulty in developing MSMEs is the standardization process. Hence, collaboration with mature industries is needed.”

As recorded by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of Indonesia, around 21 million MSMEs, representing 32% of the total 64 million MSMEs, have utilized digital technology to improve their economy. However, the government perceives this outcome still needs to be improved to achieve the target of 30 million MSMEs to go digital this year.

For this reason, Bisa Tumbuh startup will utilize Machine Learning and Generative AI technology to personalize MSME’s business model digitally. Furthermore, this cooperation also consists of a series of literacy and educational activities to help MSME competencies, which experienced entrepreneurs will fill to provide insight for MSMEs.

Regarding product distribution, this brand aggregator startup has also provided a warehouse in East Jakarta with a settled infrastructure to simplify MSMEs products’ entry, packaging, and distribution process.

“As a startup that provides innovation to impact the growth of Indonesian MSMEs significantly, this collaboration is the exchange of ideas between us and Rumah BUMN. This strategic endeavor will be the starting point for real empowerment of MSMEs in maximizing their potential while elevating their income up to double digits,” The CEO of Bisa Tumbuh, Chiko Maradona, said.
