Heaptalk, Jakarta – Multinational identity security company Cyberark (NASDAQ:CYBR) announced the launch of the CyberArk Identity Security Platform for the Indonesian region. This platform can be used by organizations in Indonesia to prevent attacks on digital identities, both identities used by humans and identities used by machines.
The presence of Cyberark’s innovation in Indonesia allows users to store their data locally, including credentials and other authentication factors, while assists companies and institutions to comply with Government Regulation no 71 year 2019 which regulates the need to carry out data management, processing, and storage functions in Indonesia.
“Hackers in the digital world are constantly developing their tactics to gain access to sensitive assets and data by exploiting the fast addition of new digital identities in organizational environments, especially in the cloud. To prevent such incidents from hindering Indonesia’s digital transformation, the team security needs to make digital identity security a top priority,” said Lim Teck Wee, Area Vice President for ASEAN of CyberArk.
Lim added that this latest digital identity security uses an on-premises data center. For this reason, users will have sovereignty over their data, and its authentication processing also will comply with regulations. This factor will be able to secure the digital identities of humans and machines and accelerate the flexible and effective utilization of cloud technology.
