Heaptalk, Jakarta – Kolaka Regency Government seizes a golden moment to present over 30 MSMEs’ products and also its natural resources potency in a national scale exhibition APKASI Otonomi Expo (AOE) 2024 which was held in JCC, Jakarta.

The Acting Regional Secretary of Kolaka, Muhammad Fadlansyah, conveyed, “The most critical point of joining this event is to introduce Kolaka’s products, both the product for local consumption such as MSMEs’ products and some of the regency’s natural resources” (07/10).

In more detail, Fadlansyah uttered that Kolaka is known for its natural resources, proven by the appearance of multiple giant mining companies, such as Antam, PT Ceria, and PT Vale Indonesia, who conduct their mining operations in the area.

According to Fadlan, Kolaka’s government also intends to increase the popularity of Kolaka’s feature products, such as cocoa, fishery products, fruits, and MSMEs products. For this reason, the local government brings their products to be introduced in the agenda.

“I hope Kolaka can reach new markets and the local products can be famous nationwide,” stated the Acting Regional Secretary Fadlan.

He added that when a commodity in an area becomes popular, it will bring a positive impact on the development of local MSMEs and entrepreneurs. Therefore, the regency’s participation in the expo is considered as the appropriate action to advance society’s welfare.

Regarding the MSMEs product, PTSP Department confirmed that the local government opens wide opportunities for local MSMEs to participate in this national-scale agenda.

“Kolaka’s Government invited local MSMEs to join this event. To join this event, the MSMEs only need to improve their packaging to be more attractive,” stated the Secretary of Kolaka’s PTSP Department.

During the agenda, PTSP Department reported that above 30 curated products were displayed in Kolaka’’s booth.

“Over 30 products were exhibited today. In fact, we still have other MSMEs’ products that have great potential,” stated the PTSP Department.
