Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Gallerie Setia Utama announced the opening of the initial VinFast dealer store in Indonesia. Located in Depok City, the store boasts a modern and luxurious design, offering customers a classy and convenient experience. Initially, the store will showcase two of VinFast’s smart EVs, the VF 5 and VF e34, while also providing professional consulting, sales, and customer care services.
In response to this launch, Deputy CEO of VinFast Indonesia, Nguyễn Ngọc Chức, said, “With the opening of the first VinFast dealership in Indonesia, we proudly take another significant step in the journey of bringing high-quality electric vehicles and exceptional after-sales service to consumers in the market. The VF 5 and VF e34, featuring modern designs tailored to local tastes, promise to become pioneering ambassadors, paving the way for VinFast’s future models and contributing to the advancement of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia,”
In addition to partnering with PT Gallerie Setia Utama, Vietnam’s EV manufacturer plans to significantly expand its electric vehicle distribution network across major cities in the archipelago in 2024. As the company perceives Indonesia as one of the countries with a conducive business climate, VinFast intends to expedite the electric vehicle ecosystem in the archipelago, one of which is through its strategic investment of US$200 million for EV factory construction, which will start this year.
Besides building the EV factory, VinFast prioritizes building a convenient charging network for Indonesian customers. The company’s founder recently announced the establishment of V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Company, aiming to expand stations in key markets worldwide, including Indonesia.

In its FY23 performance, VinFast has launched four new SUV models in Vietnam across several segments, covering the flagship VF 9 model, VF 5, VF 6, and the VF 7, and also announced its entry into Indonesia with the right-hand-drive VF 5, VF, e34, VF 6, and VF 7 models. As a part of its target to deliver around 100,000 EVs, the launch of its initial store in Indonesia is expected to achieve this goal in FY24.
