Heaptalk, Jakarta — A State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) airline company Garuda Indonesia in collaboration with Mandiri Bank, announced to conduct Garuda Indonesia Travel Fair (GATF) 2022 on October 28th – 30th. This travel expo will take place at the Indonesia Convention and Exhibition (ICE), BSD City.

During the pre-event press conference held in Sarinah, Central Jakarta, the President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Setiaputra, revealed organizing GATF this year is a part of Garuda’s strategic effort as the national airline to evoke the vacation interest of society and recover the tourism sector through affordable flight ticket offering, addressed to the Super Priority Tourism Destination (DPSP) developed by Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

“Through the implementation of the GATF 2022, we have cooperated with Mandiri Bank as a bank partner to provide considerable added value for the travel agency in Indonesia devoted to the flight service users to vacation in top tourism destinations in Indonesia, spanning Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Labuan Bajo, Medan, and Surabaya. In addition, we also provide international destinations, covering Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Korea, Sydney, and Haneda,” Irfan added.

On the three days of the expo, this SOE airline company offers enticing flight ticket discounts of up to 80% through the Best Deal program, allowing purchasers to choose their desired domestic and international destination for the round-trip vacation with the ticket price range of Rp900,000 to Rp12.1 million for the specified domestic and international tourist destinations.

On the other hand, Garuda will also grant additional value, consisting of discounts on different domestic routes of up to 15%. While for various international destinations, this national airline will deliver a special price in several destinations, served by the airline partner of Garuda Indonesia, namely Goldcoast, Australia; Osaka, Japan; Frankfurt, German; and Helsinki, Finland. Also, Garuda Indonesia will appreciate the first 2,022 visitors who come to the expo from 10 am to 12 pm by gaining a travel voucher of up to Rp1 million.

Besides, the member of GarudaMiles will also obtain other attractive promos, exclusively for new members who perform their registrations at the Garuda Travel Fair expo, to get a discount redemption of up to 60%, accessible to convert into the flight ticket of Garuda Indonesia. Furthermore, other engaging programs also exist in the event, namely a Buy Mileage and Get 50% Bonus Miles and Garuda Miles Gold Privilege Special Offer worth 3 million.

As a bank partner in the Garuda Travel Fair 2022, Mandiri Bank also aims to bestow captivating promos for Mandiri Credit Card users. Multiple enticing benefits will come to the users, from cashback up to Rp3 million, flash sale business class worth Rp2.4 million, a special grand Raffle ticket to Japan, a GarudaMiles bonus equal to one Singapore ticket cost, 0% installment up to 12 months, a 50% discounts of Livin’ Point redemption, to the other exclusive advantages for the flight period until October 2023.

“The participation of Mandiri Bank in the GATF 2022 is expected to retrieve Indonesia’s tourism and derivative sectors. This collaboration is also an appropriate step to stimulate people’s awareness of the transaction simplicity offered by Mandiri Bank, particularly for the Livin’ by Mandiri super-app transaction. Through this initiative, we have a solid optimism for growing our clients’ base and improving the company’s transactions,” the Director of Network and Retail Banking at Mandiri Bank, Aquarius Rudianto, said.
