Heaptalk, Jakarta — AnyMind Group has acquired Malaysia’s e-commerce company, Arche Digital, for USD1.5 million, equivalent to Rp23.4 billion. The company expects to complete the transaction in June 2024.

The Arche Digital acquisition aims to strengthen AnyMind’s Business-Process-as-a-Service (BPaaS) capabilities for domestic and international companies in Malaysia. Arche Digital will combine operational expertise in e-commerce with AnyMind software for e-commerce and marketing in its scheme.

Managing Director of Arche Digital, Steven Tan, voiced, “In anticipating this acquisition, we continue to embrace the opportunities. Together, we plan to embark on a journey of innovation, growth, and success, guided by our shared vision and collective power,”

This BPaaS company continues strengthening its business by performing several business schemes, including this strategic acquisition. Closing the last year with its fantastic outgrowth, AnyMind Group revealed its revenue at US$222 million, enhancing 35%. Meanwhile, the company’s gross profit has bumped 37%, attaining US$83 million in 2023. In its Q4 result in 2023, AnyMind’s gross profit growth continued across three primary business units, including:

  1. Marketing platform, growing up to 29% YoY, touching US$12.6 million
  2. Partner Growth platform, spicing up to 43% YoY (around US$7.3 million)
  3. Direct-to-Customer (D2C) platform, increasing 63% YoY or equal to US$5 million

For this year’s estimation, the company predicted to uplift its income by up to 36%, approximately US$301 million, a gross profit improvement of 30%, attaining US$109 million, and an increase in operating profit by 67% YoY, or approximately US$8.3 million.

As information, Arche Digital is AnyMind Group’s ninth acquisition in the last seven years, its first acquisition in Malaysia, the second acquisition for an e-commerce enabler after the acquisition of DDI Indonesia, and the third acquisition in Southeast Asia.

“We evaluate the management team’s ability to lead the business in the medium and long term, as well as the cultural fit and synergy with the existing business. Arche Digital has a management team with deep expertise in e-commerce in Malaysia and a track record of supporting many companies.” CEO and Co-Founder of AnyMind Group, Kosuke Sogo, said.
