Heaptalk, Jakarta — Wuling’s first electric car, Air ev, has officially unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022. This compact electric vehicle emphasizes numerous intelligent features to accelerate Indonesia’s ecosystem-friendly lifestyle.

“Innovation has become Wuling’s primary pillar in presenting products that meet people’s need in Indonesia that is represented through the launch of electrified-vehicle. Thus, we proudly showcase our electric car line-up with a compact dimension and future-tech design, Wuling Air ev. By delivering this car, we emphasize our commitment to Indonesia in presenting an eco-friendly ecosystem for our consumers’ lives,” uttered Arif Pramadana, Vice president of Wuling Motors.

Wuling Air ev highlights the ease of driving that allows users to move freely through urban track challenges. With the Drive For a Green Life tagline, this zero-emission car is an appropriate vehicle for people who want to contribute to environmental sustainability.

Wuling Air ev clearly represents a touch of technology and a futuristic impression. This EV model is also embedded with many innovative modern features: Intelligent Tech-Dashboard, Multifunction Steering Wheel, Integrated Floating Widescreen, and Futuristic Center Consoles. A roomy with four-seater configuration also marks the convenience of this Wuling Air ev, set with a 50:50 comparison on the second row for granting more access.

Wuling provides numerous superior technology, spanning the simplicity of the charging process accessible in users’ houses, guaranteed battery safety, the robust chassis design, and airbags protection. Further, customers are facilitated with intelligent features to provide driving convenience, including Remote Control Apps with the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) technology and the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) feature.

As recorded by Wuling Motors, this EV model has managed to attract over a thousand of consumers during its pre-book period which performed from 11th July to 10th August, through official dealers, Wuling.id official websites, and exclusive e-commerce partner, Blibli.com. The primary Wuling’s electric cars in Indonesia have also officially traded with the price at $16,232 for Standard Range types and $20,120 for Long Range types on the road in Jakarta.

In response to the society’s high enthusiasm for this newest EV, the Brand and Marketing Director of Wuling Motors, Dian Asmahani, delivered her gratitude to Indonesian for their excellent welcome of the initial electric car produced by Wuling in the archipelago. For this reason, Dian claimed her party would continue to create innovations to address the better mobility necessities in Indonesia.
