Indosat ties with AirAsia, facilitating telco access for international traveller

Heaptalk, Jakarta – Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), through IM3 announced its cooperation with AirAsia rewards to integrate AirAsia rewards with the purchase of IM3’s eSim and roaming data package. This cooperation is marked by the MoU signing carried out by Ritesh Kumar Singh, Director and Chief Commercial Officer Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, and Country Head AirAsia rewards Indonesia, Arifin Prasetyo at Indosat Headquarter, in Central Jakarta.

Ritesh Kumar Singh, the Director and CCO of Indosat stated, “We appreciate the collaboration with AirAsia rewards which can bring added value for IM3 customers. Moreover, this cooperation also open new opportunities for Indosat and AirAsia rewards to present wold-class connectivity for those who love travelling.”

Building this collaboration, international travellers can exchange their AirAsia points in AirAsia Moves with IM3 eSim and roaming data package. This benefit can be enjoyed in fourteen countries, spanning Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippine, India, Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan, and Cambodia.

In the future, the cooperation is expected to expand, and the AirAsia rewards can be exchanged with other aspects of Indosat services to bring more benefits to AirAsia customers.

“Similar to Indosat, AirAsia rewards, as part of AirAsia MOVE ecosystem, also has a vision to connect everyone. Indosat (run this vision), through telco, while AirAsia reward connects all people to visit their dream destination. We believe this cooperation can present an easy, affordable travel experience to the customers of Indosat and AirAsia,” stated Arifin Prasetyo, Country Head of AirAsia rewards Indonesia.
