This collaboration is an effort to accelerate digitalization in the shipping industry. The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out on the agenda “Work Installation and Provision of Managed Service Tracking Container” at Telkom Landmark Tower, Surabaya. The agenda was attended by EVP Telkom Regional V East Java-Bali-Nusra Area Teddy Hartadi, IT Director Tanto Intim Line Agung Prayitno, and VP Business Development Tanto Intim Line Stenvens Handry Lesawengen.

For the Tanto Intim Line, the installation of IoT Tracking Containers is expected to streamline the company’s operating expenses and optimize container tracking in real-time. In addition, fraud and potential loss of cargo can also be reduced. Thus, the company which was founded in 1971 can maintain customer trust and improve customer experience.

“We are very happy that finally this delayed project can be realized with Telkom. The cooperation with Telkom has always been going well, and it is hoped that the cooperation between us and Telkom can continue,” said IT Director Tanto Intim Line Agung Prayitno.

Meanwhile, EVP Telkom Regional V Area East Java-Bali-Nusra Teddy Hartadi conveyed that Telkom as the backbone of digitalization in Indonesia is committed to innovating digital products and services in responding to the digital needs of diverse industries. Teddy said, “The collaboration with PT Tanto Intim Line which utilizes the Antares platform is a solution for monitoring goods shipments with accurate tracking facilities.”

Antares is a provider of IoT service deployed through multiple devices, connectivity options, and integrated platforms to simplify work operations. Several IoT cases developed by Antares include smart home, smart metering, asset tracking, and smart building. This platform is Telkom’s answer to help the industrial sector face digital challenges.
