Heaptalk, Jakarta — Digital technology development has significantly impacted multiple aspects, including the music industry. In this case, technological developments have influenced the music industry’s business model and the way of music distribution.

As a digital music distribution company, Believe Music continues strengthening digital services for artists and producers in distributing and promoting their works through multiple digital music platforms. Targeting a Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) market, Believe possesses three primary services following its consumers’ requisites, including Tunecore devoted to the early-level artist, Believe Label and Artist Solution dedicated to the label company and artist as well as Believe Artist Services for the established artist.

In supporting talented Indonesian artists to strengthen their existence in the music industry, Believe implements several marketing strategies peculiarly. As an early step, this digital music distribution platform encourages its artists to deliver a fantastic song storyline to attract the audience’s attention. Furthermore, Dahlia revealed that the company’s team will back the customers to optimize digital marketing on their social media platforms.

On the other hand, Believe also continues to hold multiple workshops in diverse Indonesia cities, spanning Banyuwangi, Jombang, Kediri, Aceh, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Padang, and Lhokseumawe, to educate the talented society in the music industry related to the digital music platform utilization.

“At this workshop, we also invited representatives from YouTube and Spotify to share insights on optimizing our artists’ songs on these platforms. We also have local teams in several areas, such as Padang, Medan, Yogyakarta, Kediri, and Surabaya, to study trends in these cities so that we can implement marketing strategies appropriately,” Country Director of Believe Music Indonesia, Dahlia Wijaya, said on the sidelines of the Digital Transformation Summit event.

Instead of revealing the targeted business growth this year, Director Dahlia claimed that her party will focus on amplifying the three primary services of Believe Music to guide prospective artists in promoting their song creation digitally aligned with their requisites. The company will also maintain its strategic cooperation with 200 – 300 digital music platforms worldwide to channel the music creation of Believe Music’s artists.
