Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency development planning meeting (Musrenbang) in preparing the 2024 regional development work plan (RKPD) has been completed. Vice Regent Kasmidi Bulang closed the event by signing the records of the meeting agreement.
In more detail, the deliberation resulted in a joint agreement on regional development targets and programs to be implemented in 2024. Kasmidi said, “I ask that the results of this discussion be immediately followed up as part of completing the 2024 regional development work plan (RKPD) document.” In addition, this activity is also part of preparing the 2024 regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD).
This meeting is an effort to maximize the results of regional development through synchronization and synergy of each existing funding potential. According to Kasmidi, the available funding potential includes regency and provincial regional revenue and expenditure budgets (APBD), state revenue and expenditure budgets (APBN), corporate social responsibility (CSR), and other sources.
With the support of adequate budgetary resources and in line with the increasing number of special allocation funds (DAU) and revenue sharing funds (DBH), Kasmidi expects that all relevant stakeholders can move together to realize a Prosperous East Kutai for All.
“For this reason, we must use as much as possible the ability to finance the regional revenue and expenditure budgets to carry out the strategic programs that have been prepared, including in the areas of regional infrastructure, the economy, and human resources,” said Kasmidi.
Further, he asked the regional budget team to ensure alignment of planning and budgeting according to the mandate conveyed by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This mandate is related to the process of preparing healthy regional revenue and expenditure budgets and ensuring that regional strategic programs are a top priority for obtaining a portion of regional budget financing.
“To all local government working unit (SKPD) to pay close attention to each stage of the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD) elaboration, suggestions submitted by the community to prepare SKPD work plans by taking into account all possible funding potentials,” he concluded.
