Heaptalk, Jakarta — Following a meeting with Basuki Hadimuljono, the Head of the Nusantara Capita Authority (OIKN), the Swedish Ambassador to Indonesia, Gustav Dahlin, recently expressed that many Swedish investors are keen on investing in electric vehicles in the new capital city of Nusantara (IKN).
“I will bring several Swedish investors to invest in IKN,” stated Gustav.
Before committing to their capital, Basuki also mentioned that investors wish to see the progress of the IKN development.
“I can confidently say that the construction of IKN will continue as instructed by President Prabowo,” Basuki affirmed.
The funding for the IKN development comes from three sources: the State Budget (APBN), private sector investments, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
“We have communicated that approximately Rp59 trillion has already been secured from private sector investments. There are also PPP proposals under process for roads, Multi Utility Tunnel (MUT), and residential projects from Intiland and Nindya Karya. From the APBN, around Rp68 trillion has been allocated today,” he added.
Minister of Public Works Doddy Hanggodo stated that seven infrastructure projects are ready for inauguration by President Prabowo. The projects include the KKT Kariangau-Simpang Tempadung Toll Road Section 3B, Simpang Tempadung-Jembatan Pulau Balang Section 5A, and the Ministry of State Secretariat Office.
Additionally, there are the Coordinating Ministry 1, 2, and 4 Offices, an Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST), and the Sepaku Main Distribution Network (JDU) and Distribution Network (JDP) for water supply. Nevertheless, Doddy mentioned that the inauguration dates are yet to be determined as they must align with the President’s schedule.
