East Kutai Regent inspected several infrastructure projects including Sempayan Road, road in Sidrap Hamlet, and Guntung Bridge, and met with local farmers and residents.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — East Kutai Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman visited Telukpandan District in the southern part which is also known as the entrance gate of the regency (05/05).

This working visit aims to inspect infrastructure development, one of which is in a projected location for the construction of the Sempayan Road in Telukpandan Village. Ardiansyah took this opportunity to meet with farmers who are members of the Sumber Pangan Farmers Group.

Ardiansyah said, “The agribusiness program in East Kutai Regency, which is included in the development master plan by the East Kutai Regency Government, will be advanced. Through the Department of Horticultural Food Crops and Animal Husbandry (TPHP), the livestock program will be developed, primarily to improve the economy of the people in the village, including in Telukpandan District.”

In addition, the Government of East Kutai through the Department of Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) will improve administrative services. Thus, residents in Telukpandan can obtain better service in managing population administration (Adminduk) from the Government of East Kutai.

Further, Ardiansyah also inspected the location for the road construction program to Sidrap Hamlet, Martadinata Village, and handed over aid to fire victims in Martadinata Village. He also inspected the East Kutai and Bontang borders at Guntung Bridge.

He continued his visit to Martadinata Village to check the Kayu Bridge in Sidrap Hamlet and hold a dialogue with residents in Jelmu Hamlet, Martadinata Village. In the dialogue, the community asked the government to improve the existing infrastructure development.

“Let’s continue to support government policies, gradually the infrastructure needs for the community will be developed in accordance with the capabilities of the East Kutai regional budget (APBD),” concluded Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman.
