The newly appointed management of East Kutai KONI for the 2023-2027 period is expected to bring the regency’s sports achievements to the next level.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — East Kutai Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman inaugurated the East Kutai National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI) management for the 2023-2027 period in the Meranti Room of the Regent’s Office (05/04).
According to Ardiansyah, to advance sports in East Kutai, his party is providing more space and time for all sports. This is indicated by the many championships held in East Kutai, spanning the Regent’s Cup for football, badminton, table tennis, and others.
Space and time support is provided as the government understands that the frequency of matches can improve and grow athletes’ capabilities in the future, both through government tournaments and from their respective sports. All of these efforts are made to provide coaching opportunities for East Kutai athletes.
Financially, Ardiansyah said that the East Kutai Regency Government has also prepared financial support for sports events in the area. This support is provided for both achievement sports and recreational sports.
“I hope the presence of KONI can observe the potential of athletes to be appointed or improve their achievements,” said Ardiansyah. In addition, he also expects that the newly appointed KONI management can oversee the success of East Kutai athletes in the future.
Meanwhile, the chairman of KONI East Kutai, Rudi Hartono is optimistic that the tasks given to him and the administrators can improve sports achievements in East Kutai. He also thanked the East Kalimantan KONI for supporting the process of forming a new board until the issuance of a decree.
“With togetherness and good, earnest intentions of managing sports coupled with government support, East Kutai will be able to speak at a higher level,” concluded Rudi.
