Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency government, through the Library and Archives Office, has launched and introduced the Srikandi Version 3 Application with a technical guidance session for the admins and letter recorders from all villages and sub-districts in East Kutai.

The event was recently held at the Meranti Room of the East Kutai Secretariat. It was attended by 300 participants, consisting of Srikandi Application admin operators from villages and sub-districts across the region.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of several key figures, including Yuriansyah, Expert Staff for Government, Law, and Politics; M. Ayub, Head of the Library and Archives Office of East Kutai; Prihatni Wuryatmini, Chairperson of the Regional I Archive Management Team of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia; and resource persons from the National Archives of Indonesia and the Srikandi Kutim Support Team.

In his remarks, Yuriansyah emphasized that the Srikandi Application (Integrated Dynamic Archival Information System) is a government-launched archival management platform designed to enhance archive management and electronic-based governance. This application is targeted at all central and regional government institutions.

“Implementing the Srikandi application is expected to improve the quality and accountability of archiving, becoming the nation’s collective memory. Digital information management allows it to be recorded effectively and facilitates coordination between government bodies,” Yuriansyah expressed.

He also added that the event holds great significance, particularly in efforts to improve public services at the village and sub-district levels. The Srikandi application is an innovative technology designed to streamline correspondence administrative processes, making them faster, more accurate, and more efficient.

“With this application, it is hoped that all administrative processes in villages and sub-districts will run more smoothly, transparently, and be easily accessible. This aligns with our vision to achieve good governance based on information and communication technology,” he added.

Earlier, Ayub, Head of the Library and Archives Office of East Kutai, explained that the Srikandi application is part of the Presidential Regulation on Electronic-Based Government Systems (SPBE) mandate and has been established as a national standard for dynamic archival management.

According to Ayub, the event aimed to introduce Srikandi Version 3 and improve archival management quality by making it more seamless, accountable, and dynamic.

“In addition, the aim is to update the knowledge and understanding of all participants using the Srikandi Version 3 application. Participants were given an introduction to Srikandi Version 3 by creating structures, practicing correspondence, and filing,” Ayub concluded in his remarks.
