Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency Government has provided heavy equipment assistance to the Industrial Training Center (Balai Latihan Kerja Industri, BLKI) Mandiri Sangatta to develop quality human resources.

“This heavy equipment assistance is for practical training at BLKI Mandiri Sangatta,” said Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman after the handover on Tuesday (09/10) in Sangatta. The heavy equipment from the East Kutai Regency Government includes one excavator unit, one forklift unit, and one heavy equipment simulator.

In his remarks, Ardiansyah praised the training programs organized by the Department of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnakertrans). He emphasized the importance of training in enhancing local human resource skills and reminded that information about these training programs should be disseminated at the district level.

“It is important for us to ensure that information about this training reaches all districts. Participants are not only from Sangatta but from across the East Kutai Regency,” Ardiansyah said to the hundreds of training participants.

In addition to industrial training, East Kutai Disnakertrans also offers other training programs, such as barista training. Ardiansyah views these training programs as highly relevant to current economic developments, as new skills can create new business opportunities for the community.

Roma Malau, Head of East Kutai Disnakertrans, expressed gratitude for the support from the Regency Government. He stated that the Regent’s proactive policies in supporting training programs and improving human resource quality greatly assist Disnakertrans in implementing its work programs.

“With the provision of heavy equipment and more comprehensive training programs, the East Kutai Regency Government hopes to create competent labor and enhance competitiveness in the industrial world while opening up more new business opportunities in the region,” Roma concluded.
