The training and data input aims to assist in making decisions on regional budget allocations and minimize the risk of miscalculations in making decisions.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency Government through the Development Administration Section of the Regency Secretariat conducted training and data input utilizing the monitoring information system for the evaluation and supervision of budget realization (Simontepra) for two days on June 7-8, 2023, in the Pelangi Room, Hotel Royal Victoria Sangatta.
This training is one of the efforts to accelerate the implementation of the regional budget 2023 and prepare data for the Q2 2023 operational control meeting in the 3rd week of June 2023. The participants consisted of two representatives of regional apparatus organizations and 18 districts in the regency.
In his opening remarks, the Head of the East Kutai Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Noviari Noor, explained that Simontepra had been implemented since 2021 based on a Presidential Instruction in accelerating the realization of budget absorption and procurement of goods.
Noviari said, “Simontepra is a system that can be monitored by the central government. For this reason, we in the regency/city area are required to fill out the application. Thus, the central government can monitor regional absorption.”
In general, this training aims to provide an in-depth understanding of how to effectively input data through Simontepra. Noviari asked the participants to study the application well during the training, mainly its various features and functions. As a result, they are expected to be able to input data correctly and fluently using the application.
Further, this training is valuable since the submitted data will be the basis for making decisions regarding budget allocations. In addition, this activity can also help ensure the accuracy of data treasury and minimize the risk of miscalculations in making decisions.
Simontepra can provide valuable information for more effective budget management. Appropriate input techniques can optimize budget use, identify inefficient spending, and identify areas that need performance improvement.
“This training can help improve our skills and knowledge in the field of information technology. In this digital era, IT is important and this training can provide an opportunity for us to hone the technical skills that are really needed at this time,” concluded Noviari.
