The vision and mission of the regional head are passed down in the form of strategic plans for regional apparatus and annual work plans.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency Government carried out a leadership meeting to discuss the attainment of the 2023 program and work plans at the Crystal Room, Mercure Hotel Samarinda (06/26). This activity aims to align the strategic plans of the regional apparatus and the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD) of East Kutai.

Regional Secretary of East Kutai Regency, Rizali Hadi, said that through this meeting, his party wanted to see similarities in views and perceptions between the East Kutai regional government budget team (TAPD) and all regional apparatuses.

“In each preparation of the activity plan, in general, we translate the vision and mission of the regional head which are passed down in the form of strategic plans for each regional apparatus and then they are translated into work plans every year,” explained Rizali.

This alignment must be reflected in the work plan of the regional apparatus as a whole and will be used as material for discussion by the regional government budget team in meetings with the DPRD’s Budget Agency (Banggar). Rizali hopes that the general budget policy (KUA) and Temporary Budget Priority Ceiling (PPAS) issued already contain concepts that will be developed into work plans for regional apparatuses.

Rizali said, “Here we want to see compatibility between the regional vision and mission to the work plan and it is prepared through stages according to the theme of development each year.”

According to him, the regional vision and mission have been reflected in the 2024 development theme proposed by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) to coincide with the end of the term of office of the Regent and Vice Regent. Rizali expressed the hope of the Regent and Deputy Regent that all regional apparatuses could carry out the work plan in 2024 to achieve the regional vision and mission.

Meanwhile, the Assistant for the Economy and Development of East Kutai Zubair asked all heads of regional apparatus to pay attention to budget absorption in their respective departments. He also hopes that all parties convey the problems and obstacles as well as the expected solutions to achieve the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD).

“Hopefully through this leadership meeting we can accelerate budget absorption and development,” concluded Zubair.
