Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Education Department held technical guidance on the management of the 2023 version of the basic education data information system (Dapodik) for the 2022-2023 school year. Taking place at the Permai Sangatta Hotel North, the activity was attended by 145 operators of basic education data from 18 sub-districts in East Kutai (11/12).
The technical guidance was officially opened by the Acting Head of the East Kutai Education Department Irma Yuwinda. During her presentation, she said that every application that is used continuously, including the basic education data system, will transform to improve quality in order to adjust the needs and idealize the function of the system.
The improvement of the Dapodik system is expected to enable operators to work more efficiently in carrying out their duties. Irma said, “Operators are the spearhead of the regency government in the education sector. The data they input becomes one of our fundamental in making policies.”
Irma hoped that operators in each education unit can work honestly, specifically in submitting multiple data needed as an essential reference for the government to make decisions, one of which is funding decisions sourced from the state budget. One of the examples is the physical special allocation fund (DAK) which was made based on basic education data.
According to the official release from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the application of the basic education data information system version 2023 has gone through improvements due to several obstacles that interfere with the operation of the education unit. Most recently, the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education, and Secondary Education have updated and improved the Dapodik application version 2023.c from the previous version, namely Dapodik version 2023.b (08/26).
Bug fixes have been carried out in several services, including changing the sync button to a draw data button, selecting curriculum and education levels for the playgroup level, daycare center, and similar early childhood education units, and adding new students to the level of cooperation education unit in the playgroup.
