Heaptalk, Jakarta — Through the Ministry of Industry, the government presented the Industrial Technology Start-up (Rintek) and Indi 4.0 Awards to 40 companies at the Ritz Carlton on Tuesday (10/01).

In his remarks, Andi Rizaldi, Head of the Industrial Service Standardization and Policy Agency, stated that the Rintek Award supports industrial players’ technology enhancement to reduce dependence on imported capital goods and downstream products.

“The Industrial Technology Start-up Award is a form of the government’s appreciation to national industrial players who have consistently improved national industrial technology to increase productivity and the self-reliance of domestic industries,” said Andi.

Meanwhile, the Indi 4.0 Award is given as a form of appreciation from the Ministry of Industry as the focal point for Making Indonesia 4.0. It is awarded to companies that have transformed towards the Industry 4.0 era and serve as a stimulus for industrial companies to increase productivity, efficiency, and production capacity.

“The Indi 4.0 Award was initiated in 2019, one year after Industry 4.0 was launched by President Jokowi. From 2019 to 2022, 76 industrial companies have been named recipients of the Indi 4.0 award, with the details being five companies in 2019, 13 in 2020, 27 in 2021, and 31 in 2022,” Andi explained.

For this year, Andi mentioned that 16 companies received the 2024 Rintek Award, while six companies received the Indi 4.0 Award under the guidance of the Directorate General of Agro-Industry of the Ministry of Industry, eight companies under the Directorate General of Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industries, and ten companies under the Directorate General of Metal, Machinery, Transportation, and Electronics Industries.

Here is the complete list of companies receiving the Rintek and Indi 4.0 Awards:

  •  16 Rintek 2024 Award Winners: Robomarine, Petrokimia Gresik, Beta, Zekindo, Pupuk Sriwidjaya Palembang, PT Martina Berto, Tiga Roda Indocement, Viar, Pupuk Kaltim, Pupuk Kujang Cikampek, Otomodeck, Kalbe, PT Gandeng Toolsindo, Terafulk, Proline, PT Pura Barutama.
  •  6 Indi 4.0 Award Recipients (Agro-Industry Directorate General): PT Aqua Golden Mississippi Mekarsari, PT Bungasari, PT Cargill Cocoa and Chocolate, PT Gandum Mas Kencana, PT Sinarmas, PT Wismilak.
  •  8 Indi 4.0 Award Recipients (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industries): PT Dan Rilis, Dexa Medica, PT Fima, PT Indopoly, PT KMK Global Sport, PT Procter and Gamble, PT Semen Gresik, PT SIG.
  •  10 Indi 4.0 Award Recipients (Metal, Machinery, Transportation, and Electronics Industries): PT Astra Otoparts, PT Autoplastik Indonesia, PT BMT, PT Century Batteries Indonesia, PT Isuzu, PT KYB, PT Light Industri Persero, PT Panasonic, PT PHC, and PT Sakai.
