Religious holiday allowances will be given to honorary workers in East Kutai after the issuance of a circular letter from East Kalimantan Provincial Government.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — The government of East Kutai Regency will provide incentives in the form of religious holiday allowances (THR) for honorary workers within the regency government. This was conveyed by the Vice Regent of East Kutai, Kasmidi Bulang.
“We are still waiting for a circular letter from there (East Kalimantan Provincial Government). That will be our basis for following up,” said Kasmidi.
According to Kasmidi, his party as the local government certainly wants to provide holiday allowances to all honorary workers, as the East Kalimantan Provincial Government did. However, the Government of East Kutai Regency collided with the regulations in force.
Kasmidi said, “We will not neglect this opportunity (providing religious holiday allowances to honorary workers), as long as we obtain a circular from there, we will definitely carry it out.”
Previously, the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor, said that his party ensured that all honorary workers would receive religious holiday allowances. According to Isran, this policy also applies to honorary workers in all regencies/cities in East Kalimantan.
Perceiving the number of allowances that will be received by honorary workers, Isran confirmed that it will be equivalent to the amount of one month’s salary. This applies to all honorary workers regardless of the length of service concerned.
“Whether they work half a month, I oblige them to be given a holiday allowance of one month’s salary,” concluded Isran.
