Heaptalk, Jakarta — Muslim LifeFair 2024, the bazaar exhibition of Muslim products and halal cuisine in Indonesia, with the central theme ‘Muslim Children Festival,’ officially opened on Friday (12/27) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), South Jakarta.
In his remarks, Deddy Andu, President and Director of PT Lima Event Indonesia, said that Muslim LifeFair (Mufair) is held over the weekend of December 27-29, 2024, in Hall A JCC. It focuses on children and families and develops halal business products for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Mufair is expected to be the family destination for spending an educational and inspirational year-end holiday. “By visiting and enjoying the various programs held at Muslim LifeFair this year, Muslim families are supporting the development of halal products and industries in Indonesia,” said Deddy.
Muslim LifeFair features a variety of engaging programs tailored to the needs of children and families. These include children’s studies by motivators Kak Muslim and Kak Agung Tyo, English speech contests, storytelling, Qur’an memorization and verse connections, and children’s classes such as fun cooking and calligraphy.
In addition, Muslim LifeFair 2024 also provides a health service vehicle for free dental check-ups for children under 12 and collaborates with the Indosat institution for zakat, infaq, and alms to raise donations for Palestine. All event programs and facilities at this event can be enjoyed with an entrance ticket priced at Rp30,000 per person purchased online or Rp35,000 per person purchased at the event venue.
Fachrul Azmi, Deputy General Manager of PT Lima Event Indonesia, stated that since it was first held in 2019, Mufair has become an integral part of developing the halal industry ecosystem in Indonesia. “Many MSME actors have been helped and have participated in Mufair multiple times, as this exhibition helps them increase sales and expand promotions. Loyal visitors of Muslim LifeFair have also made this exhibition a much-anticipated destination each season, where they can shop for halal products at very affordable prices, participate in educational activities, and enjoy family recreation facilities,” explained Fachrul Azmi.
“By providing a platform for promotion, education, and collaboration, Muslim LifeFair helps increase the exposure and visibility of local halal products among the wider community through mainstream media and social media. This effort is expected to bring Indonesia closer to its vision of becoming a global halal industry center,” said Zaky Ramadhan, General Manager of PT Lima Event Indonesia.
In addition to Zaky’s remarks, Deddy Andu mentioned that in 2025, the Muslim LifeFair Road to Muslim LifeFest exhibition will be held in various cities, including Bekasi, Bogor, Tangerang, Jakarta, and Makassar.
