Heaptalk, Jakarta — Association of Exporters and Producers of Indonesian Handicrafts (ASEPHI) announced will reorganize Inacraft 2025 from 5 to 9 February 2025 at Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). Muchsin Ridjan, the Chairman of Asephi, stated that the expo will support small medium enterprises (SMEs) and contribute to the national economy to achieve the country’s ambitious 8% GDP.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Inacraft, Asephi and Mediatama, the co-organizer, will adopt theme ‘Sustainability and Collaboration’. Employing the concept, Asephi aims to strengthen collaboration between stakeholders, thus Inacraft functions as an expo and also community platform for education and socialization.
In terms of sustainability, the craft expo will present a program, such as seminar and discussion to enhance sustainability awareness.
Moreover, Vice Chairman III of Asephi who also sits as the Project Officer of Inacraft, Muchamad Ali Jufri stated, “We realized that the event will generate tons of waste, therefore, we have sustainability campaigns such as plastic recycling to overcome this issue. We also collaborate with waste-management communities to run the program”.
In addition, Inacraft 2025 also will feature multiple special programs and innovations from 1099 exhibitors.
“Inacraft will showcase special agendas, one of which is collaborating with Special Region Yogyakarta as the icon pavilion and presenting special programs, which adopt Yogyakarta’s uniqueness,” stated Baby Jurmawati, Vice Chairman II of Asephi.
Regarding the program, Baby conveyed that Inacraft 2025 will present various arts and culture of Yogyakarta, such as Yogyakarta traditional dance and music, mini carnival, and batik demonstration. In addition, Southeast Asia’s largest handicrafts expo will feature Inacraft forum, business matching, welcome dinner, craft talks and workshops, Inacraft Award, and fashion show.
Jufri conveyed that Inacraft aims to boost the sales and branding efforts of the exhibitors, thus the event is organized before Ramadhan.
“As we know, Ramadhan is a golden moment for boosting sales. This is the reason why we organized the event is organized before Ramadhan,” stated Jufri.
He added that Inacraft will highlight handmade crafts to continue Asephi’s mission of preserving the national culture. As an effort, the handcrafted products will be located in strategic booths.
Delivering an easy payment method to visitors, Inacraft has built strategic partnerships with Bank Mandiri. Meanwhile, the classic Inacraft 2025 also is supported by SOEs, as well as five ministries, including Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Industry, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
