Each artist and band invited to Soundrenaline 2022 delivered a surprise performance to rock Allianz Ecopark, Jakarta.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — One of the largest music festivals in Indonesia, Soundrenaline, managed to draw a large crowd during its implementation on November 26th-27th, 2022. Although two main line-ups of this event, The Ataris and FKJ, were absent, visitors’ enthusiasm for this event kept burning.
People remained to stay on the stage to watch their favorite bands despite the heavy rainfall hitting the venue on Saturday (11/26). Even, more crowded could be seen at night as two headlines, Weezer and Clean Bandit, closed the event on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
In addition to Weezer and Clean Bandit, other performers, such as Neck Deep, Secondhand Serenade, Plain White TS, Mono, and Copeland, managed to touch on the audience’s nostalgia.
Jazz singer that recently went viral in Indonesia, Stacey Ryan, also rocked Amphi Theater Stage by singing her popular songs, including Fall in Love Alone. Lofty Indonesian performers, such as The Sigit, Isyana Sarasvati, Burgerkill, the Prediksi, Potret, Stars and Rabbit, Feel Koplo, etc., enlivened the two day music festival.
Each artist and band delivered a surprise performance to grace the stage. For example, The Prediksi – a motor club whose members are famous Indonesian artists – suddenly transformed into a boyband to entertain the audience, while the American rock band Weezer also sang the top Indonesian song popularized by Chrisye, ‘Anak Sekolah’ (means: student).
Adopting Comeback Live and Louder as the theme, Soundrenaline 2022 succeeded in bringing about 71 top line-ups from international and domestic performers.
