Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai contingent will take part in 53 sports at the VII East Kalimantan Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) in Berau from November 26 to December 7, 2022. East Kutai Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman officially released the contingent in the Ilham Maulana Polder area (11/19).
Ardiansyah said the East Kutai contingent has to bring back the grand championship title at the East Kalimantan Provincial Sports Week in Berau. “The key word is we come, we play, and we win. That is our target,” said Ardiansyah.
The East Kutai Regent reminded all athletes to obey the manager’s direction as one of the supplements to become a champion. The athletes must have a champion mentality since all parties expect victory from the contingents who will compete in this quadrennial event.
“Hopefully all of you can compete well. Win every game and bring the victory back,” said Ardiansyah.
Likewise, the leader of the East Kutai contingent Kasmidi Bulang said that the grand championship title that had been achieved must be reclaimed at the VII East Kalimantan Provincial Sports Week in Berau.
“Our target is to maintain the grand championship. All East Kutai people please pray for us,” said Kasmidi.
The East Kutai contingent consists of 1,362 athletes and officials. According to Kasmidi, his contingent has a chance to become a champion since the East Kutai government has fully supported this sport.
