Heaptalk, Jakarta — In celebration of Kartini Day, Charm’s new tagline, ‘Express Yourself Limitlessly’ (05/22), aims to encourage young women to embrace self-expression and empowerment.

Actress and Gen Z influencer Syifa Hadju, who attended the event, emphasized the importance of continuing R.A. Kartini’s legacy of courage and advocacy. “Kartini symbolizes the bravery to speak up and voice opinions. As the younger generation, we must carry that spirit forward to achieve our dreams,” she said.

She added, “Through its innovations and products, Charm has supported Indonesian women, including myself as a Gen Z, to stay active and comfortable during menstruation. I can truly be myself without worries.”

Sri Haryani, Sales Director of Uni-Charm Indonesia, stated that Charm believes every woman has the right to express herself and pursue dreams without limitations, including menstrual barriers. The “Express Yourself Limitlessly” tagline reflects Charm’s commitment to empowering Indonesian women, especially Gen Z, to care for themselves and live without constraints.

“Charm offers tailored solutions like Charm Daun Sirih (for odor control), Charm Cooling Fresh (to prevent discomfort), and Charm Safe Night (for leak-proof protection). Moving forward, we’ll keep innovating to help Indonesian women maximize their potential and thrive,” she said in a written statement on Wednesday (05/20).

dr. Beeleonie, a health expert, addressed pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS) and early-cycle challenges. She explained that hormonal fluctuations often cause physical and emotional symptoms like cramps, back pain, headaches, fatigue, and mood swings. “Regular, normal menstruation signals good reproductive and overall health. Maintaining hygiene during periods is crucial to avoid disruptions,” she advised.

She further also recommended choosing the right sanitary products and underwear. “Opt for cotton panties that aren’t too tight, change pads frequently, and avoid self-diagnosing unusual symptoms—consult a gynecologist instead. With proper care, we can prevent period-related setbacks and stay healthy,” she concluded.
