Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Iron-Steel Summit & Exhibition Indonesia (ISSEI) 2025 will be held from 21–23 May 2025 at Hall A-B of the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). On Monday (05/06), a technical meeting was held to discuss the event’s agenda at the Garuda Ballroom, Ministry of Industry Office, Jakarta.

The event is organized with the full support of Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry, Debindo, and the SEAISI Conference & Exhibition 2025. “This event marks an important consolidation for steel industry stakeholders in strengthening their strategic role toward the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Debindo in a written press release on Wednesday (05/07).

Under the theme ‘Together with the National Steel Industry, Building the Foundation Toward Golden Indonesia,’ the technical meeting served as a coordination forum and a platform to foster synergy among industry players, the government, associations, and the education sector. “Through this synergy, steel industry players from across Southeast Asia will gather to exchange strategies, technologies, and innovations in facing the global steel industry competition challenges,” Debindo explained.

In his remarks, Noor Fuad, Chairman of the ISSEI 2025 Organizing Committee, invited all parties to unite to ensure the success of the main event scheduled for 21–23 May 2025. “We expect cooperation and enthusiasm from all of you to make this event a success, which carries the theme ‘Together with the National Steel Industry, Building the Foundation Toward Golden Indonesia.’ Let us give our best for the advancement of education and the national industry,” said Noor Fuad.

Harry Warganegara, Executive Director of IISIA and ISSEI’s representative, stated that ISSEI 2025 is an evolution of the annual Indonesian Business Forum (IBF), which has long served as a strategic discussion platform for the national steel industry. “This year, we are introducing ISSEI 2025 as a strategic step to advance and enhance the competitiveness of Indonesia’s steel industry, both nationally and regionally,” Harry emphasized.

The highlight events of ISSEI 2025 will feature various strategic agendas, including: Keynote speeches from ministry officials and association leaders, a national seminar, an industry expert talk show, an exhibition of the latest steel technologies and products, and business matching sessions among industry players. The organizers hope this series of events will strengthen the national steel industry’s resilience roadmap and accelerate the steel sector’s role as a key pillar in economic development toward Golden Indonesia 2045.
