Heaptalk, Jakarta — As it approaches its 50th anniversary this September, Polytron is reinforcing its commitment to being a leader in innovation within Indonesia’s electronics industry—this time by introducing its first electric vehicle (EV).
This move aligns with company’s long-term vision to provide mobility products that are not only modern and safe but also accessible and relevant to the broader Indonesian market.
Tekno Wibowo, Commercial Director of Polytron, emphasized: “Accessibility is the key. We want to ensure that future mobility technology is closer to the people, more affordable, and better suited to the real needs of Indonesians.”
The first electric vehicle launch also reflects the company’s adaptive approach to evolving trends while maintaining the trust and expectations it has built over nearly five decades.
“We’ve partnered with international collaborators to develop our EV platform, and we believe this collaboration will position Polytron as a major player in Indonesia’s electric vehicle market,” Tekno Wibowo explained.
The upcoming Polytron’s first electric vehicle—set to debut next week—promises to be a competitive contender in Indonesia’s growing electric vehicle sector.
