Heaptalk, Jakarta — Infinix has officially launched its latest laptop, the XBOOK B15, at an event held at Novotel Mangga Dua Square, Jakarta. The new device is designed for users who seek performance and durability in a stylish, budget-friendly package.
According to Sergio Ticoalu, Head of Marketing for Infinix Indonesia, the XBOOK B15 comes in two processor options: the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U (7000 Series) with six cores, 12 threads, and a maximum clock speed of 4.3GHz, and the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U (5000 Series) featuring eight cores, 16 threads, and speeds up to 4.5GHz.
The laptop is equipped with 8GB of DDR4-3200MHz onboard RAM and features an additional SO-DIMM slot, enabling users to expand memory up to 64 GB. For storage, it uses a 512GB NVMe SSD, delivering faster boot times and data access.
The Infinix XBOOK B15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD display (1920 x 1080), with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 100% sRGB color gamut, 300 nits of brightness, and an anti-glare coating for improved visibility in bright environments. The screen design features slim bezels on three sides, providing an enhanced viewing experience. With a slim and minimalistic build, the laptop measures just 3.75mm in thickness and weighs 1.77 kg. It features a metal top cover and bottom chassis and is available in a single Grey color variant.
Built for reliability, the device is MIL-STD-810H certified, indicating it meets military-grade durability standards. It houses a 50Wh battery capable of lasting up to 11 hours for web browsing. Additionally, it supports 45W fast charging, reaching 70% capacity in just one hour.
Connectivity options include USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, HDMI, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. Other features include a 720p HD webcam, dual stereo speakers with DTS Audio, and a full-sized keyboard with a backlit numeric keypad. The XBOOK B15 is priced at Rp 5,799,000 for the Ryzen 5 variant (8GB RAM / 512GB SSD) and Rp 6,199,000 for the Ryzen 7 variant, both with the same memory and storage configuration.
