Heaptalk, Jakarta — President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Sachrudin-Maryono as Tangerang’s Mayor and Vice Mayor at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (02/20). Both expressed their readiness to begin working immediately following the president’s directives.
“We will follow the guidance of the President by providing the best possible service because we are public servants. We are ready to serve the community and implement programs and activities, especially those addressing fundamental needs,” stated Sachrudin, the Mayor of Tangerang.
He emphasized that the public should find it increasingly easier to access public services in the education, food, or employment sectors. Sachrudin explained, “We aim to make things easier for our community in all aspects, from education to the nine basic food staples and employment. We will start by providing free education and coordinating with companies in Tangerang City to create job opportunities for the community.”
Echoing Sachrudin’s sentiments, Vice Mayor Maryono also expressed his commitment to supporting the leadership in Tangerang City. “Alhamdulillah, this inauguration marks the beginning of our hard work in building and improving services for the people of Tangerang. We are ready to dedicate ourselves to the progress of this beloved city,” he said.
During the event, President Prabowo Subianto emphasized the importance of regional leadership focused on public welfare and accelerating development across various sectors. The president hopes every regional leader will carry out their duties responsibly and diligently.
With the official inauguration of Sachrudin-Maryono, the Tangerang City government is expected to become more solid in delivering the best services and continuing multiple strategic programs to enhance the community’s welfare.
