Heaptalk, Jakarta — Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini met with Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi to discuss public and transportation services during the Eid holidays 2025.
Rini said collaboration between government agencies is necessary, especially regarding public services during the upcoming Eid holidays in 2025. “We discussed several aspects to improve public services, especially in the transportation sector,” she said after the meeting at the PANRB Ministry Office on Tuesday (02/18).
The continuity of government administration and public services during Eid al-Fitr must continue. Therefore, the PANRB Ministry provided several suggestions to ensure transportation services run optimally.
Furthermore, Rini supports various programs and strategies of the Ministry of Transportation in providing services to the public during the Eid holidays. Her party will also continue coordinating with multiple parties to ensure that the services offered by civil servants during Eid run optimally.
Meanwhile, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi stated that the meeting with the Minister of PANRB was a form of cooperation and collaboration to obtain input on service sectors, especially during the upcoming Eid holidays. According to him, civil servants must continue to provide excellent service, primarily related to transportation services, even during the Eid holidays.
“We discussed several aspects earlier, particularly those related to Eid preparations and how our services to the public can continue to run smoothly. We received input for improving our services to the public, especially during Eid,” Dudy said.
According to data from the Ministry of Transportation, the mobility of people traveling for Eid continues to increase yearly. In 2022, there were more than 13 million Eid transportations, 2023 had more than 14 million, and 2024 saw over 16 million. Therefore, a lot of input from various parties is needed to anticipate the increased mobility of people expected this year, including the anticipation of Eid transportation, to create safe and comfortable transportation services for the public.
