Heaptalk, Jakarta — At the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), held from February 13 to 23, 2025, Kia occupied a booth located in Hall B, Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. It showcased its complete product line, ranging from SUVs, MPVs, and EVs, which have been marketed in Indonesia.
“Stepping into the new year, Kia reaffirms its presence in the Indonesian automotive industry through our participation in this year’s IIMS. As a renowned automotive exhibition in Indonesia, IIMS is an important moment for us to interact with the wider public and demonstrate our commitment to supporting the community’s mobility needs. This time, we are present with the theme ‘Journey to Inspire, Transforming Roads with Innovation,’ reflecting Kia’s spirit to continue inspiring our customers’ journeys through innovative and quality products. This theme also aligns with Kia’s spirit of ‘Movement that Inspires,’” said Andri Gunawan, Sales Head of PT Kreta Indo Artha, during the IIMS Press Day on Thursday (02/13).

This car manufacturer presented a complete lineup of its flagship products in Indonesia with six display units. In the MPV segment, Kia showcased the Carnival Premiere 7-seater and Carens 6-seater. The new Kia Sonet Premiere launched in the fourth quarter of last year was also presented along with the new Kia Seltos in the SUV segment. Not to be missed, Kia’s futuristic electric vehicles, namely the Kia EV9 GT-Line, which is the most spacious and comfortable EV SUV in Indonesia, and the Kia EV6 GT-Line, also enlivened Kia’s booth as a testament to Kia’s support for sustainable mobility.
To create an inspiring space at this year’s event, the automaker used wooden elements and a vertical garden in its 304-square-meter booth to reflect its commitment to environmental sustainability while illustrating the touch of nature to seek inspiration from visitors. “At our booth at IIMS 2025, we invite you to see and feel firsthand how Kia is transforming towards more sustainable and inspiring mobility,” added Andri.
Throughout the exhibition, Kia provided various engaging activities for visitors to offer a closer experience with its diverse products. The car manufacturer provided three units for visitors to test drive in the test drive area, including the EV9 GT-Line, Carnival, and Carens. Additionally, visitors could participate in the ‘Memory Challenge’ game, with attractive prizes at Kia’s booth.
