Heaptalk, Jakarta — Since September 17, 2024, MNC Play has officially transformed into Indosat HiFi, the internet service brand under Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH).
This migration is expected to expand Indosat HiFi’s service reach, with a projected coverage of around two million home passes across Indonesia. This move reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing multimedia, data, communication, and internet (MIDI) services.
Previously, Indosat HiFi acquired MNC Play’s customers in November 2023 in response to the growing demand for home internet services amid an increasingly digital lifestyle. The brand has since expanded its area and improved customer service quality in Indonesia, with network coverage extending to 60 regions nationwide.
This expansion focuses on major cities and secondary cities with high growth potential, including areas targeted for strategic industrial development. According to Ritesh Kumar Singh, Director and Chief Commercial Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Indosat HiFi is a tangible commitment from Indosat to meet the connectivity and digital needs of the public, primarily through home internet services.
Offering varied internet packages

IOH claims that the transition from MNC Play to Indosat HiFi has been smooth without disrupting customer comfort. Indosat HiFi offers a variety of internet packages ranging from 30 Mbps to 1 Gbps, designed to meet the needs of all segments, from home users to professionals.
The brand also offers attractive bundled packages, integrating internet services with access to premium entertainment content such as Vision+ and Catchplay+. Customers can enjoy unlimited access to movies, TV series, and other exclusive content, providing a seamless and comprehensive home entertainment experience.
