Heaptalk, Jakarta – The Ministry of Youth and Sports introduced new logo to commemorate the 96th Youth Pledge Day at Auditorium Wisma Kemenpora on Friday (10/11).
The Youth and Sports Minister, Dito Ariotedjo, in his opening remarks, stated, “The launch of this logo is one of the pre-event for Youth Pledge Day which will be celebrated on October 28 at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)”.
Dito conveyed that the new logo is expected to boost youth’s spirit in succeeding the 96th Youth Pledge Day and also strengthen solidarity to advance the country.
Regarding the new minister, Dito voiced, “Although the celebration of Youth Pledge Day will be organized under new goverment, this agenda remains require support from all stakeholders and the involvement of the entire Indonesia’s youth. Moreover, the elected president, Mr. Prabowo, also has passion on sports”.
The spirit to prepare young generation is expected to reflect in new Youth Pledge Day logo which features several philosophy as follow:
- Three youths with different color demonstrates diversities which is able to advance Indonesia.
- Dynamic red and white represents Indonesia who always move dynamically.
- Highest jump is a symbol of youth jump to bring Indonesia to the highest position.
Cornsilk represents youth who are the symbol of life. - Soft gold which symbols youth potency.
- Gold which signs Indonesia’s vision to achieve Golden Indonesia 2045.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the youth sports organization Komite Pemuda Olahraga Bersatu (POB), Swara Andhika Emil stated the launch of this new logo is an important moment for young generation who are the symbol of Indonesia’s revival, young generation who will be the leader in the future.
To enliven Youth Pledge Day, Swara conveyed that POB will support the organizing of Dieng Run 2024. POB also will involve in the pre-event of Youth Pledge Day and its peak event which are set to be organized from 26 to 28 October 2024.
