Muslim LifeFair 2022 is back, how does it boost halal product business?

Heaptalk, Jakarta – After being postponed for two years due to the pandemic outbreak, eventually, Muslim LifeFair is poised to be held. The event will take place at Istora GBK, Senayan, Jakarta, on March 25 – 27, 2022. The upcoming event is claimed will be a pipeline for halal industry entrepreneurs to boost their business whilst accelerating Indonesia’s economic recovery.

In the event, 195 exhibitors derive from SMEs from halal and Islamic industries across the archipelago brace for presenting its best products to visitors. The exhibitors will be covered various sectors, including modest fashion, Islamic education, Islamic book and publisher, and hobbies and communities.

In addition, sectors of halal travel, culinary, beauty, and pharmaceutical, as well as thibbun nabawi herbal also are set to enliven the occasion. The various sectors presented are expected can highly attract people’s attention and, ultimately, boost the participants’ earnings.

Perceiving more in the Islamic education sector, about 30 to 50 Islamic schools and Islamic boarding schools around the country will join the event to share more information about their education system. This occasion is targeted will captivate people’s eyes, particularly parents who want to seek more details about the best Islamic education for their children.

The travel category is also predicted to seize great enthusiasm from visitors who want to perform umrah and hajj, the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, as Saudi Arabia’s Authority has eased its rule towards the covid-19 restriction.

As the role of hijab and halal has moved into a lifestyle, the halal product showcase in the event is perceived to receive a positive response from people. The Director of Lima Event, as the Organizer, Deddy Andu, signaled his optimism towards business in halal products.

“Considering the lack of Islamic exhibition during the covid-19 pandemic, we expect Muslim LifeFair can be a place for society to pour out its longing for the halal product exhibition, and also be a moment to revive Muslim economy in this new normal.”  

During the event, the well-known ustadz spanning Arifin Badri, Syafiq Riza Basalamah, Subhan Bawazier are invited as the keynote speakers. The content they present will make the event more interesting.  

The elements mentioned to construct Muslim LifeFair are hoped to draw great people’s attention. The crowd of visitors that will come to the event will be translated into good opportunities for the participants, as the festival facilitates a great moment for entrepreneurs to enhance their brand awareness and the number of sales. Joining the festival also enables the participants to expand their business by providing a place to offer franchises. 

For additional information, Muslim LifeFair is a part of a series leading up to the peak event, Muslim LifeFest that will be held on August 2022 at Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC). By listening to the entrepreneurs’ voices concerning society’s enthusiasm in other regions, the Organizer stated will perform this event series in other regions, such as Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, and Surabaya.

“This event series will not only be carried out in Jakarta, but also other regions. This measure is conducted to enable local entrepreneurs to revive their business together,” stated the Chairman of The Community of Indonesia Muslim Entrepreneur, Rachmat Surtanas Marpaung, during the Muslim LifeFair press conference (03/09).

Previously, Indonesia Muslim LifeFest 2019 was reported to attract 60,000 visitors and followed by 300 booths. And now, on the Muslim LifeFair 2022, although Lima Events did not reveal the number of its target visitors, the Organizer mentioned that the normal capacity of the events arena is 6,000 visitors. According to the covid-19 restriction (PPKM) 3rd level, only 75% of the total capacity is allowed to enter the place. However, the Organizer voiced that the capacity will be adjusted to the regulation that might be changed at any time. (WLN)
