Heaptalk, Jakarta – East Kutai Government, through the Tourism and Creative Economy Department, introduced their creative economy and tourism potential at APKASI Otonomi Expo (AOE) 2024.
The head of East Kutai Tourism Department Nurullah, after the AOE opening stated, “In this event, we promote local tourism destinations and economy creative” (07/10).
He added, “We have a lot of tourism destinations. For beach destination, we have Lombok Bay, Prancis Bay, Singkama Bay, Sekerat Beach, Marang Beach, and other destinations”.
For nature tourism destinations, East Kutai Government introduced Karst Sangkurilang while for cultural destinations, the traditional music instrument and the instrument player also were showcased in the agenda.
“Wakaroros Batik and traditional handicrafts are also displayed in our booth,” stated Nurullah.
Regarding tourism innovation, Nusrullah also mentioned that East Kutai Government will organize Festival Lom Plai on the next July to support the series of Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) which was initiated by the Ministry of Creative Economy and Tourism.
For promoting tourism village, East Kutai Government also has collaborated with Politeknik Pariwisata Makasar to provide guidance for the local society in the area.
