Heaptalk, Jakarta — After regaining the resounding success in Jakarta and Tangerang, Wahyu Promo Citra (WPCitra), in collaboration with Bank Jago Syariah, return to organize the Halal Fair Series 2024. The halal product and sharia economy exhibition will start in Yogyakarta City on May 3-5 at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC).
During the three days of the Halal Fair Series 2024, the people of Yogyakarta and its surroundings will have the opportunity to shop for halal products at exceptional prices. Still, they can also spend time together, improve their networks and business skills, and go on sharia tourism with their families.
“As a creative city with large potential in the culinary, fashion, craft, and other creative industry product sectors, we are optimistic that the Halal Fair will receive an enthusiastic response from the residents of Jogja and its surroundings. Moreover, 40% of the exhibitors who attended this event not only came from local Jogja and Solo but also other areas, including Jabodetabek, Bandung, Tasikmalaya, Semarang, and Surabaya,” said WPCitra Project Director Satrio Sukur at a press conference which took place in Jakarta (04/23).
Presenting 111 brands from Sharia ecosystem
According to the event organizer, around 111 brands from diverse business categories will enliven the event. The participants are categorized into several category, spanning Sharia banking and finance, halal beauty, travel fashion, Umrah hajj, education, culinary, and other multi-products. Satrio Sukur added, “We also collaborate with several local communities and government institutions. “Halal Fair is a collaboration event to strengthen the sharia economic ecosystem, especially in the DIY region.”
Together with Jago Syariah, the Halal Fair Series 2024 hopes to become a means of incubating halal business players and developing the national Sharia economy. In the process, Sharia banking plays a significant role in supporting an inclusive Sharia economic ecosystem. “We appreciate the Halal Fair activities, which are consistently held yearly. This is one of our commitments to support the development of the Halal industry in Indonesia and our efforts to increase Sharia economic and financial literacy,” said Head of Sharia Financing at Bank Jago Agung Lesmana.
Agung said Jago Syariah has been a sponsoring partner for the Halal Fair event since 2023. He hopes that this positive activities can further introduce Jago Syariah products and services connected to Indonesia’s digital ecosystem to the broader community.
To add to the event’s excitement, WPCitra collaborated with the local artist community of Jogja, painting and custom motorbikes, to hold a custom diecast car art workshop. Visitors can see various collections of custom diecast cars and other interesting offers during the exhibition.
