Heaptalk, Shanghai – Digital travel platform Trip.com Group announced has signed a wide-ranging strategic partnership with AirAsia’s parent company Capital A Berhad to collaborate across multiple business lines, from flights to accommodations, attractions and tickets, car-hailing, and payments.
As cited from PRNews, the cooperation will strengthen their partnership that has been established since 2020. Both parties will work together to further expand AirAsia’s reach and range of offerings through Trip.com Group’s solutions such as merchandising and the Virtual Interline product.
Through this collaboration, several business strategies will be conducted by both parties to escalate service quality and improve the products quality, one of which is by the collaborations between Trip.com Group and AirAsia’s customer service teams. Meanwhile, TripLink will provide AirAsia Aviation Group with payment solutions which will create further value for both organisations while allow AirAsia to optimise cost efficiencies and provide better value to its customers.
